Grant's Campaigns and Battles - by Mansfield - part 1

Continuing the tribute to J Carroll Mansfield....

Mansfield's coverage of the Civil War was extensive; the principal existing Google News Archive sources I have located/used are issues from the Spokane Daily Chronicle 1926; Youngstown Vindicator 1926, Sunday Vindicator (Youngstown, OH) 1926; and The Evening Independent (St Petersburg FL) 1927.

Because of the sheer volume of strips I have decided to narrow my tribute to Mansfield's CW coverage in the form of his strips covering the exploits of Ulysses S. Grant  (my favorite American soldier).
